The Sr. Field Marketing Manager will assist with planning, development and execution of all enterprise-focused marketing programs to increase the effectiveness of field sales in growing their business. Field marketing provides Sales with tools and content to consistently deliver the right messages to the right customers & prospects in support of salesforce.com's growth objectives and strategic initiatives. The position is responsible for program management, analysis, tracking and reporting for field marketing initiatives for the Southeastern Region. This position can be located in our Reston office or remote if you are willing to travel.

Responsibilities:
Work with southeastern regional Sales organization to develop the marketing plan that aligns with corporate strategy and supports Sales objectives.
Research, recommend and drive targeted marketing plans to bring together corporate programs and regional opportunities, including but not limited to field events, executive programs, tradeshows, direct response, industry associations and telemarketing , to support the pipeline and revenue goals of the Sales organization.
Forecast, evaluate, measure and report on marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Ability to work cross-functionally to oversee the timely execution of the marketing plan.

Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor or Masters level education, MBA preferred
At least 5 years of high-tech marketing experience, preferably in a field facing role
Knowledge of enterprise software solutions packaging, pricing, and sales processes
Solid understanding of the variety of marketing disciplines including traditional and online
CRM market experience preferred
Demonstrated sustained program development with associated analytical tools
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal professionally with sales and marketing counterparts.
Independent, self-starter who can prioritize and drive deliverables to execution with minimal supervision.
